Mount Norman on South Pender Island offers incredible views overlooking the San Juan Islands and Olympic Peninsula in Washington State and the Southern Gulf Islands and Vancouver Island. While not difficult but arguably a grind, the 1.5km trail to Mt. Norman ascends to 244 metres to a panoramic look-out. These photographs are from the view point, the top image looking towards the San Juan Islands and the lower image looking towards Vancouver Island. Mt Norman is now part of the Gulf Islands National Park Reserve of Canada.
