LORNE ELLIOTT
Tuesday, Oct 9, 2006
Canadian born, LORNE ELLIOTT has performed from Newfoundland to New
York City, from Los Angeles to Australia and points in between. Lorne
started performing in 1974 as a folk musician in East Coast Canada.
At the same time he kept writing fiction as well as songs, monologues
and one-liners. The outcome of such training is a very special show
of comedy and music, totally original, entertaining, up-lifting and
foolish enough to make everybody laugh. Along with his unique and
wacky performance style, it is the timelessness of his material,
joined with keen observations of today's trends that make LORNE
ELLIOTT's work so special.
JOE TRIO
Friday, November 9, 2007
JOE TRIO is not your average piano trio, but that's the point. The
trio doesn't wish to be neatly categorized. Instead they strive for
diversity, versatility and more than a little humour and
unpredictability. Their repertoire consists of the classics - from
Haydn to Shostakovich - new works by contemporary composers, and
their own arrangements of popular, jazz and rock tunes.

Newly christened in 2007, TRIO VERLAINE members are Lorna McGhee,

together by friendship and a strong desire to further this unusual
